Rachelle LeJeune is a lifelong horse owner, who has been riding as soon as she could walk. She began teaching during the summers at an equestrian summer camp while in high school, which grew into a position as the seasonal Equestrian Program Director during college. While working full-time after college, she continued to teach lessons at a local community barn and has been instructing and training ever since. Rachelle believes in the importance of understanding equine behavior in order to apply it to our partnership with horses, both on the ground and under the saddle. Rachelle strives to give her students the skills to develop confidence, connection, and effective communication with horses while making it enjoyable for both student and horse. Rachelle enjoys riding and training her horses in her free time, hiking with her dogs, and enjoying the outdoors.
Jodie has been a riding instructor at Pine Ridge for the past two years. Her love for horses started at a very young age when she baby sat horses for a family friend. When she was 10, she began taking riding lessons here and her love for horses has never stopped. At 15 she was given the opportunity to teach riding lessons to beginners which has become a strong passion. Her goal is to be a professional riding instructor and horse trainer. Outside of teaching she also shows in 4H and at local hunter shows. She’s so grateful for the opportunities here at Pine Ridge and is excited to be a part of this years' horse camps.
